It's not just new builds for Hire West.
This beautiful building was constructed in 1896 as the summer residence of Western Australia’s first
attorney-general, Sir Septimus Burt and his large family.
An extensive restoration commenced in 2003 and took six years to complete.
In 2015 Hire West provided scaffold and height access services to enable essential maintenance work;
notably the replacement of screws in the woodwork with stainless steel versions.
Safety for work-site staff and visitors, and prevention of damage to this historic building were the two
main objectives; both comfortably achieved.
